Pastors Mark & Charlene Bryon
Pastors Mark and Charlene Byron were married in 1995 and have 3 children: Lauren, Markus, and Ashton. They have been in ministry since 1996 working in different areas. They youth pastored for 2 years. In 1996 attended Rockford Master’s Commission as 1st year students in Rockford, Illinois. In 1999 started Mobile Master’s Commission in Mobile, Alabama and directed that ministry for 11 years. Pastors Mark & Char planted a church in Mobile, Reality Church, and pastored there 4 years while still having an MC program operating in their new church. In 2014 they moved to Huntsville, Alabama where they began working with Rock Master’s Commission and are staff pastors of the Rock Family Worship Center. Their desire is to raise up young adults that grasp their full potential in Christ! “We are training and equipping the ones that are NEXT. Next to lead our churches, starting companies, teaching our children, entering the mission field, and running our nation. We pray that RMC can be that launching pad for your destiny and world wide impact.
Pastors Jamin & Laura Mitchell
Pastor Jamin and Laura both attended Masters Commission straight out of high school, and have been in ministry for 16 years. They have served as children’s, youth, college, and family pastors at various churches and a church plant. They have a heart to train students in leadership and various ministry areas that feel called to vocational and bi-vocational ministry. Seeing students reach their full potential in the Lord, is what they love to see happen. They have 3 children Jude (8), Justice (6), and Adalye (3) who keep them busy and running everywhere!
Shaquawn Austin
Shaquawn attended Rock Master’s Commission for three years and is now on staff. “RMC has truly changed my life and shaped me into the man of God I am right now. I grew up at The Rock Family Worship Center, so stepping in as a staff member with Master’s Commission is just apart of my calling. Discipleship is my life! I love it! I’ve learned if you see someone hungry and their ribs are showing, then show them where the bread is… and that is Jesus.”
Caitlyn Tripp
Caitlyn Tripp is the Academic Director for the Rock Master’s Commission. As an RMC graduate, she understands and emphasizes the importance of experiencing ministry in both hands-on and classroom settings. Her goal is to see young people discipled practically and spiritually.
At RMC, we understand the importance of balancing course studies and experiential ministry training, and it is that distinct commitment that makes Master’s Commission a one-of-a-kind life changing experience.

Numerous life lessons will be not only taught but also experienced first hand as a student of RMC. The students are blessed each week with teachings from the amazing staff at the Rock Family as well as other business professionals sharing wisdom and experiences. |
RMC students have a huge part in missions trips, not only as we reach our city but as we stretch our reach into the rest of the United States and the world. Every year we have taken one to two international mission trips. God has opened the door for RMC teams to minister in Iceland, Mexico, Philippines, Honduras, El Salvador, and many other countries throughout the years. |
Scripture Studies are assigned weekly for each student, as we strive to dig deeper in the Bible as a group. |
As part of each students enrollment at RMC, they will participate in the academic track of their choice that will equip them for their purpose. Whether it is full time ministry, continuing on to a full-time college education, or working a trade job we have academic options suited for you. |
RMC students will be an integral part in the outreaches of The Rock Family & Huntsville Dream Center. We also work close with Manna House serving our community and Boys & Girls Club mentoring the children in our Public Schools. |
God’s word has not changed, but the method in which we deliver it can! We believe in serving the Creator in creative ways. RMC students gain experience and are a huge part in illustrated sermons, dance, dramas, spoken word, worship, choir, and even video. |
